On April 14-16, 2026, we took part in the KRYZYS-26 exercise and conference organized by the Military University of Land Forces in Wrocław. The conference “Institutional Cooperation in Crisis Situations” focused on civil protection and cooperation between the public administration sectors, the military and emergency services. Moreover, the event participants analyzed the provisions of the Act on Civil Protection and Civil Defense from the perspective of their application in peacetime, crisis and wartime, and forecasted directions for the development of an integrated civil protection system.
During the KRYZYS-26 exercise and the conference, we presented the practical use of the Multilevel Automated Crisis Management System JASMINE (CMS JASMINE) as a tool supporting inter-institutional cooperation. While running three scenarios – a terrorist attack, fire threat, and chemical contamination – the system was practically used by students of the Faculty of Security Studies and enabled real-time exchange of information, visualization of the operational situation and coordination of activities between the involved entities. The application of the CMS JASMINE system enhanced the participants’ situational awareness and improved the decision-making process under dynamically changing conditions during the exercise.
