Description
WAN Access Box is a basic element of the BMS JASMINE and VIS JASMINE (modern intercom - Vehicle Intercom System). Is a teleinformatic integrator in a combat or command vehicle (including armoured personnel carriers, tanks, wheeled and tracked vehicles) and other vehicles. Depending on configuration it provides:
- server platform in ICT system as a database server for C3IS JASMINE system;
- on-board network router and management server of IP phones (CallManager Express) and also gatekeeper;
- external communication via: built-in WiFi module, integrated wireless devices (e.g. VHF/HF radios);
- on-board communication including: operating and monitoring of vehicle sensors, integration with ICT battlefield and fixed networks.
WAN Access Box integrator has a modular structure and consists of hardware components enabling a connection of several devices of on-board system and software. It provides the logical link between the attached components and provides services for end users, including command support features during military operations.
WAN Access Box is a ruggedized solution designed to operate in harsh military environments (that meets high military standards e.g. anti-shock, climatic and environmental). Every component of this integrator can also operate as a stand-alone solution and they can work independently.
