The Backbone router is a military ICT hardware designed to connect computer networks to assure an efficient packets transmission between them, it is able to operate autonomously or in ICT Nodes sets in shelter and portable version or other applications. This solution can be successfully utilized in institutions / public services involved in tasks for the national security and crisis management, particularly in mobile applications operating in tough environmental and terrain conditions.
The Backbone router is designed to:
- connect ICT networks to the telecommunication networks and connecting them to the other systems used in the armed forces and the structures cooperating with them;
- convert the ICT communication standards and transfer the information through the various access channels, available for instance during the stabilizing and supporting foreign missions.
