Our fruitful and very useful participation in the subsequent BOLD QUEST exercises in the USA

TELDAT as the only one Polish company which once again took part in the BOLD QUEST international exercise, which were held on the days 14.09 – 8.10.2015. BOLD QUEST is a big and important military project, organized every year in the USA with the participation of over a dozen thousand of soldiers, engineers, many hardware and modern battle planes. The aim of the exercise is increasing of allied interoperability, e.g. by the use of innovative products. One of them is the Combat Identification Server CID JASMINE (consist of software module – CID JASMINE, built from the set of services C3IS JASMINE and hardware – Server Box), which once again, also as the only one Polish product was intensively and successfully used, including tests during this project. The tests were carried out in the wider scope then previous, e.g. in the context of: expanded possibility of sending of automatic generating communicates for planes and helicopters pilots and compatibility with the newest version of ADatP-37 standard, published by NATO.

Bold Quest

During this military exercise:

  1. CID JASMINE:
  • once again was accredited for connectivity to exercises network;
  • passed tests with the NATO and allied systems, including NCI Agency and USA:
    • FTAMS - Force Tracking Advanced Management System,
    • MTDS/JRE - Multi-Link Translator Display System,
    • BOSS - Battlefield Operational Support System,
    • NIRIS - Networked Interoperable Real-time Information Service;
  • exchanged of the data with the following aircrafts, helicopters and simulators: A10, B1, Rafale, F/A-18, F15, Tornado, Apache in the scope of: data acquisition of units positions, optimization of number of exchanged information, visualization of current situation and operational readiness of the CID JASMINE and tracking of listed aircraft;
  • also passed much wider set of tests than in the previous year, dedicated for this class of solutions, e.g. with the use of NFFI, VMF and Link 16 standards.
  1. Our engineers once again improve their specialized skills and gained unique experience, useful in developing of IT military solutions.

As a result of the next effective use and positive tests of CID JASMINE in this exercise, compatibility and correctness of implementation of the newest standards (STANAG 5528) in our solution were confirmed, which significantly affected for the increase of its interoperability in the cooperation with the Air and Land Forces of the allied countries.
