Description

On-board WLAN is an element of the BMS JASMINE. It's a device used as core module in wireless computer networks (WLAN - Wireless Local Area Network) in accordance with IEEE 802.11. It's an on-board access point for wireless devices (e.g. wireless IP phones and tactical terminals) and it provides services for mobile Users.

On-board WLAN is a ruggedized device designed to operate in harsh military environments (that meets high military standards e.g. anti-shock, climatic and environmental). It can also operate as a stand-alone solution and it can work independently.

Main components of the On-board WLAN are the following:

• WLAN module dedicated to installation inside of the vehicles;
• WLAN antenna dedicated to installation outside of the vehicles and integration with WLAN module in WAN Access Box.
